A combination of academic types mixed with a bohemian feel makes Rogers Park unique in all of Chicago. Jackson-Thomas House: This 1872 Italianate beauty is part of the Ridge Boulevard parade of historic houses that were originally built along the pre-historic shoreline of Lake Michigan. Today, the sit about a mile from the shore, but this particular house is well worth seeing for its timeless beauty.

Leather Archives and Museum: You can check out the original fetish artwork and go through all eight galleries including the dungeon room for an unforgettable experience in this former synagogue.

Madonna della Strada Chapel (Loyola University):  You can sit for Catholic Mass or just admire the incredible art deco structure of the chapel that is mere steps from Lake Michigan.

Mile of Murals: 14,000 square feet of space hold virtually innumerable artworks from expressive portraits, wonderful country scenes, and even floating sewing machines.

Robert A. Black Golf Course: A great golf course that allows you to hit the links in the city limits of Chicago! This par-33 nine hole golf course is a highlight of the Rogers Park guide.
