Centennial Monument: This marble Doric column in the middle of the square was designed by Henry Bacon and officially dedicated in 1918. Lula Café: You can find wonderful comfort food such as gnocchi with boar sausage or lamb sweetbreads and cocktails to wash it down at this contemporary American café.
Masa Azul: You can find award-winning cocktails that go great with the pork tacos that have caused people from all around the region to go to Masa Azul. You cannot go wrong when going to this remarkable place.
New Wave Coffee: This incredible coffee shop offers the best in java for coffee fanatics thanks to the local Metropolis beans. However, it is the atmosphere that really makes this place special.
Scofflaw: Created by Danny Shapiro, this gin-joint offers a great menu of drinks that just have to be experienced to be believed. It’s no wonder that this place is considered one of the best bars in all of Chicago.
The Whistler: This bar managed to set a new trend back in 2008 by creating affordable cocktails that were out of this world. This is a very popular place, especially on the weekends.
Wolfbait & B-Girls: If you want to find the hottest in chic women’s wear by some of the best designers in the region then this is your place. Run by Jenny Stadler and Shirley Kienitz who also contribute their own designs, you can find a wealth of great fashion at this location.
Yusho: Ever since it opened in 2011, Yusho has enjoyed rave reviews for the simple reason that it serves the best yakitor-inspired dishes. With Matthias Merges as your chef, this is the place to go for small plate dishes in the region.
Redevelop University: This is not an accredited University but it teaches Realtors and investors in the Chicagoland area about lead generation, selling homes for top dollar, technology, raising capital, managing contractors, auctions, marketing, and finding inventory. Their is a strong emphasis on networking and doing deals within the Redevelop University community.
